Want to repair or reinforce your weak E36 rear strut towers?

These plates can be installed by welding them directly to the strut tower, or alternatively, can be bolted in-between the tower and suspension fasteners. The rear towers on these vehicles are a known weak point and our plates can help prevent them from breaking. If you are going to a true coilover suspension setup, our plates are a necessity in order to spread the extra load in which a true coilover setup will place on the rear towers.

Our reinforcement plates can be ordered in both a raw or zinc plated finish, depending on whether you are welding them in or just bolting them. They are made from 3mm thick S275 Steel. This listing is for two plates, which is all you need to reinforce your rear strut tops.

We strongly recommend these to be welded/installed by a professional, competent mechanic.
